Training Programme

Our endeavor is to train undergraduate, postgraduate students in the field of Human Genetics & to generate interest for science among youth. Every year we select about 6 to 10 students for project work to be carried out for 3 to 5 months and students are encouraged to apply atleast six months prior to the initiation as this is highly competitive. You have chance of 1: 5 for selection. Students are given specific topic based on their one week performance at IHG and also encouraged to write research paper in peer reviewed journal.

In October 2010 we will have two distinguished scientist from California State University on Sabbatical for the period of two months. One Dr. Rheem D Medh, Associate Professor of Biology and another Dr. Jheem D Medh, Associate Professor, Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, California State University.
